A Journal Discovered Among the Papers of Thomas Kjar  

People around me have been criticizing my personal life and I don't take that particularly well. And I have neglected that personal life; like some anchorite or hermit in the desert. It's no good. I'm not going to wear a hairshirt to prove my guilt. When I see certain people I feel badly about the state they are in. They deserve a better fate than what they are experiencing.

I will work for other people as long as I am confident that they are offering some bit of moral support. Not worship but simple trust and and support.
