To help continue our success, we are in search of a action/results oriented, hands-on, self-motivated organized and seasoned Managing Editor for QVC s Information Services Division. The successful candidate will manage a team, made up of editors and copywriters, responsible for the production of promotional content for QVC s website with clearly defined deadlines. Ensure style, consistency and timeliness of the content. Responsible for the overall look & feel of the sell copy as well as, the accuracy, consistency & quality of the copy for each meta. Maintain and develop processes to streamline workflow while sustaining quality copy. Work with cross-functional teams to maintain integrity, style, and functionality of the QVC website. Provide coaching & mentoring to all staff. Cross-train in Product Detail writing, editing and processes to provide support to that group as needed. Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor s Degree in English, Communications or Business required.
• Minimum 6 years Management experience in a business environment, preferably in a marketing or creative writing position.
• Excellent writing and communication skills, with confident command of spelling, grammar and punctuation. Ability to compose grammatically correct sentence structures that combine creative writing, advertising and marketing skills with factual product information to create compelling sales copy.
• Demonstrate a strong attention to detail, an eye for consistency, and the ability to compose persuasive sales copy.
• Must exercise good judgment while identifying, researching and resolving product-related issues independently and/or with others.
• Excellent PC skills and the ability to comprehend complicated systems & learn as well as, maintain a product data in a system designed specifically for this purpose.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever changing priorities, time sensitive environment.
• Experience in the Retail Industry Preferred.
