Seeking Fulltime Copywriter
Location: Chicago, IL

RPM Advertising, Inc. is a full service marketing communications agency serving regional and national automotive, retail, financial, home furnishings, technology, and gaming and entertainment product categories. We are seeking a fulltime Copywriter to join our creative team! The Copywriter will report to the Creative Director.

Responsibilities:

• Developing executions and/or campaigns for print, direct mail, radio, television and other forms of promotion.
• Writing copy which helps-- in varying degrees as specified for the project--to build awareness of client product/service benefits and help to drive response and sales.
• Accurately word processing all advertising copy for approval.
• Continually researching client s products/services/image to ensure ability to write accurate, benefit-driven, on target copy/concepts for assigned projects.
• Working to ensure that copy/concepts serve the purpose of selling the client s product/service/image first and foremost, according to the strategic creative plan.
• Assisting in writing agency proposals, marketing plans publicity, etc. as requested by Creative Director or Account Staff.
• Assisting in drafting and producing company press releases, newsletter(s), etc. as requested.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Advertising, English, Journalism or related field
• 3+ years experience writing copy for print, broadcast, and interactive media that gets attention, communicates message, and stimulates action
• Experience writing for retail and automotive a plus
